Mar 27 96 The Electrical World 2513 [253] Broadway New York Dear Sir:- Your favor of the 20th inst, came duly to hand and in reply I beg to state that as the pictures are due to the absorption of the X ray by the Silver Salts, and as the same fluoresce with the ray thereby absorbing energy sufficient to cause decomposition. Why not call the result Fluorograph. Then with the Fluoroscope we see and with the Fluorograph we record Yours truly Thos. A. Edison R[andolph]
