May 25 96 Messrs Merck and Coy- 73 William Street New York. Dear Sirs:- I am very glad to hear that you have got good Crystals. I originally had a lot which gave results far superior to Platino Cyanide but have not been able to duplicate them. They were made by one of my men several years ago. I would be very much pleased if you would send me enough to cover a screen 10” x 10”. Please inform me as to the following:- In your new book (which to my mind is the most complete thing ever published by an Industrial Works) you speak of Cryst, powdered, do you have both Crystals, and Crystals powdered. Also in many cases you give price per oz say $6.00. Can anything less than an oz be bought when Catalogue does not speak of 1/8 - 1/4 Oz bottles &c Yours truly Thos. A. Edison R[andolph]
