Dear Sir :-
Your favor of the 12th inst, came duly to hand I have seen Mr Edison and he will not sell the property unless he can sell it all at once and for cash.
I advise you not to go to any expense that you cannot afford to lose as there is no telling when Mr Edison might want the place.
