Dear Mrs Edison:-
Your favor of the 7th inst came duly to hand and in reply I beg to state that the new Phonographs have not yet been finished but in about two months they expect some and then you will receive one.
I would advise you to write again in about six weeks as there will be no chance of it being overlooked.
