Bishop Gutta Percha Coy-
426 East 25th Street
New York.
Dear Sirs:-
Can you make a somewhat flexible cord consisting of two Gutta Percha Wires twisted together, the Copper wire can be two or three strands No 36 copper wire for core. I suppose the Gutta Percha will have to be very thick and in layers as I want the cord to carry the current from an induction coil giving eight inch spark. The cords will be about fifteen feet long and there will be quite a demand for them if they can be made, Wire with only 1/16 Gutta on side does not stand.
An early reply will greatly oblige.
Yours truly
Thos. A. Edison
R[andolph].
