Dear Sir:-
In reply to your favor of the 4th inst, please tell General Palmer that I have worked up a process for working the dry placers of the Mesa of the Ortiz Mine grant and have closed contract with the owners of the grant. If he knows of any big dry placers where water costs the same as Champagne, that I am headquarters [for] that kind of a proposition.
