Reiff Esq. 52 Exchange Place New York Dear Sir:- In reply to your favor of the 15th inst, I beg to state that as I am the originator I will have two years to [hatch?] it. You could go to the Acetylene People and say [that] I have applied for patent and make some arrangement with [them.] You and E.H.J. raise money to pay for patent and give one third of what you get.
