Dear Sir:-
My attention has been called to the fact that you are advertising yourself as being my agent or having an agency for the sale of the Edison phonograph. Such advertising on your part tends to mislead the public, and is injurious to my business interest, and I therefore notify you to discontinue it at once or I shall institute legal proceedings against you.
Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison
