In reply to your favor of the 23rd inst I shall do nothing about exploiting [illegible] without your advice. In meantime I am proceeding to test the parts and change the form to get it into good commercial shape. Today for instance I am making mill #2 which improves #1, about the 4th month until I shall probably make a good instrument and then shall make 50 and set them up to obtain data for cataloging purpose.
