Dear Mr. Latimer:
Your favor of the 14th inst. came duly to hand, and in reply I beg to state that I have shown your letter to Mr. Edison and he says that you can send the gentlemen out any time, and I would advise you before he comes out to call up on the telephone so as to be sure Mr. Edison will be here all day. If you do not come with the gentleman, will you kindly give him a letter and I will see that he is taken to Mr. Edison as soon as he comes in.
