June 19th, 1899. Prof Gaetano Lanzo., Mass. Institute of Technology, Boston, Mass. My Dear Sir:- I have written the young men whose names you gave me, and will arrange for them to call on us here at Orange, and select from them the men we want. I wish you would also send me the addresses of Lewis Grosvenor, Daniel Fifield and H.L. Moore, as it may be we can do better for them than the positions they already have taken, and give them more congenial work. Relative to the compressor, I have an engagement with Mr. Saunders on Monday, and will show him your letter, and write you later what he has to say on the subject. Thanking you very much for the addresses, I am Yours very truly, WS Mallory [TAE Marginalia] Mr. Saunders says prices quoted you one cost and the machine is of superior construction. He suggests you compare carefully the various machines before you place order.
