Edward J. Redington, Esq.,
42 Crouse Ave.,
Syracuse, New York.
Dear Sir:
In reply to your favor of the 17th inst., I beg to say that I should become responsible for Thomas’s debts, there would be no end to it and I will not hold myself responsible.
You can say, however, to Mr. Sawyer that I want him to get a judgement for the money due against Tom and put it in hands of New York Sheriff, and if he can not in a reasonable time collect the money, let me know and I will see what I can do for him.
Yours truly,
Thos A. Edison
