June 27th, 1899. Mess. Mossberg & Granville Mfg. Co., Providence, R.I. Gentlemen- I have use for considerable sheet iron or soft steel .065” thick and 19” wide and any length that will cut in multiples of 20” I have difficulty in obtaining what I need, and have under consideration the purchasing of sheet .006” to .008” thick, reheating and rolling it down to .003”. What can you furnish me in rolls for this purpose, and what sort of a heating furnace would you advise? Please, also quote prices and time of delivery after receipt of order. Yours very truly,
