Dear Will:-
I beg to enclose you herewith checks as follows:-
Orange Journal 13.50
Allen Wallace 55.00
Mrs. Barry 44.50
O.J. Conley 20.00
L. Kaiser 15.00
Cyrus Rose 36.00
I send you the above check to pay the debts you enumerate. Every few weeks I get a letter from you stating that you have made a fool of yourself.
What is the use of going right along month after month making a fool of yourself. Try the other tack for a month or so and see how it feels. I am very much displeased at your borrowing money from Conley
Yours truly
Thos. A. Edison
