Aug. 5th, 1899.
Messrs. Eimer & Amend,
Third Ave.,
New York City.
Dear Sirs:-
Up to this writing we have not received order No. 11922. This order was mailed you on July 31st, 1899, and we expected to receive the goods in two or three days. It is now nearly a week, and they have not arrived. The delay has caused us a great deal inconvenience and delay in the work for which they were required. It seems strange that we are compelled to wait so long in receiving goods from you, as we find that it invariably takes from three to four days for you to fill an ordinary stock order, which could be sent up by return express, and as we do not have any trouble with other New York houses in filling our orders, we think there must be some inattention somewhere.
Trusting you will give this your attention, we are
Yours truly,
THOMAS A. EDISON LABORATORY.
