- Editor's Notes
- "Complete tender will not be completed until twenty fifth--Rough estimates then we can take contract complete system including building street tubes services, if permission obtained and if Nicholson pavement still there, and run station thirty days and teach men to continue its running for hundred and twenty nine thousand dollars for five thousand eight hundred lights of sixteen candle capacity latter equal to a seven foot burner Laclede gas each. This does not include lot. The accurate estimates will reduce sum named considerably-- A great many ten candle lamps can be used being equal to five foot Laclede burner-- Station would supply nine thousand ten candle lamps and area might be extended with small expenses--"
