"Perhaps you have depolarized field. If so charge up again by adding five or six cells carbon battery in field circuit but if wire broken in one leg throw out one leg of magnet put resistance box and wire on other leg across the circuit it will work just as well. Is magnet of both dynamos out order. Will be here until eleven oclock tonight telegraph what success and write particulars so we can fix you up."
