Title
[LM004020], Letter from Samuel Insull to Joseph Insull, August 4th, 1886
Editor's Notes
Enclose agreement Tomlinson drafted by which you convey an undivided one-half of the realty of the farm to me, representing my investment, subject to the mortgage you took out after consulting me; you and your wife should sign and send a copy back to me; then have lawyer make me a deed and send it to me; if you've made the transfer with the Canadian Pacific, then it will be half of the lots in Virden; can't afford to send you any money; may be able to in a few weeks; how're the crops? How much will they bring in.###Wrote to Emma inviting her to come spend a year with me; I'll let you know what she says; can't come to Virden this summer, business too pressing; trip to Europe postponed.
