[LM012117], Letter from Samuel Insull to William Ettinger, Pennsylvania Railroad, August 5th, 1886
Editor's Notes
Prior to your leaving New York you had some conversation with Mr.Tate, and also some correspondence with TAE, with realtion to placing the Phonoplex System on the lines of the St.Louis & Pacific Telegraph Co. I am extremely anxious to keep the expenses of this buisness as low as possible, and it is for that reason that I suggest the availability of you remsinging in the neigborhood of a place which is the largest center in the West for railroads.
