- When I saw you last at the Laboratory it was arranged that I should be supplied with a model phone with a lightning arrester on it. You promised this after I stated that all such models should come from the Laboratory before I attempted to have anything of the kind made for actual use. Will you please have John Ott attend to this matter immediately, as otherwise we will find ourselvs with a lot of burnt out phones on some of the lines running out of New York.
