Red: yours of 23rd "I beg to say that the magnets sent you are permanent. The 'split,' or permanent magnet is the only one we use and indicated by either name. If thet circuit as at present equipped is not loud enough insert split magnet as below shown in red [sketch]. When this circuit is remodeled you will require magnets as shown below" [sketch and some possible variations]
