- [is this commercial product testing at laboratory?] "I beg to submit to your notice the following report upon the test made of a number of watches according to your instructions with a view to discerning as accurately as possible the susceptibility of these watches to magnetic influence and also to change of temperature.## We have today comlleted our last operations in the series of tests which have extended over more than two months. ## The order of the report is as follows": 1) description of watches; 2) description of method of testing; 3) statement of observations; 4) conclusions based on entire series of tests. "A list of the advertized non-magnetic watches was supplied to the Laboratory by the Non Magnetic Watch Co. of America, together with a suggested plan for carrying out the tests of their [illeg] under varying temperatures….."
