Title
[LM111392], Letter from Arthur Edwin Kennelly to John Alfred Brashear, May 2nd, 1889
Editor's Notes
Dear Sir##Mr Edison desires six plates or section of quartz from one inch to two inches in breadth or diameter, according as you may find the hexagon or circles more convenient, and about 1/10 one tenth inch in thickness.##We have found in the "Ann de Ph et Chem" that a Soret fluorescent eyepiece - a thin sheet ofuranium glass at right angles to the telescopic [sector?] axis and a positive eyepiece with its axis diverging some 25 [degree symbol] focused upon it Can you let Mr Edison have this arrangement in a form capable of application to any ordinary telescopic tube? Yours faithfully A.E. Kennelly
