We forward today by express the special ammeter referred to in your letter of the 14th inst:. It is calibrated for alternating currents of 290 alternation per second from 0.1 to 1.45 amperes in hundredth. As it was a little too sensitive at first, we fixed a view to damping to vibration to some extent
