Mr. M.S. Gay, Supt
Edison, N.J.
Dear Sir:--
Please have Mr. Rowley advise what arrangement will be necessary to get water to the Muck House. My impression is that the height of the Muck House is about the same as that of the Reservoir and we will be unable to get water there by gravity. This may make it necessary to arrange to pump it.
As to the pipes, my recollection is a 6" pipe runs to the south end of the store room, and then there is a 4" pipe over the hill. Mr. Brisbane can confirm this.
When we last ran, we sometimes had trouble in getting water enough for the two boilers at Bricker plant and as the new binding mill will require a considerable amount of water, it will be necessary to provide for it.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory
