Dear Sirs:-
Replying to yours of the 22nd inst. relative to the 90 ton "Giant A" steam shovels which e use at our works Works at Edison, N.J., beg to state the machines have been satisfactory and have fulfilled the guarantee of the Makers in every particular,
If your foreign friends expect to use steam shovels for rock work, we would suggest they use a machine fully as large as these we have, as from experience and information awe have been able to obtain lighter and smaller machines are generally not satisfactory for such heavy work.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory
