Mr. Morris Jayne,
c/o N.J. & P.C. Works,
Edison, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
Commencing immediately, you will please inspect all construction and repair work, both in the Machine, Blacksmith and Carpenter shops, also in the Mills, and make us a daily report of same. You are to have the power in case you find the work is not going in correctly, to order the Foreman in charge on the particular work, to stop on it and you then are to report to Mr. Gay that you have stopped it and he will then take the matter up and see that it is arranged so that the work will be done properly.
We are particularly that you do this in every instance, as we want to "head off" off the necessity of having work done over two or three times, as has happened many times in the past.
Mr. Gay has a copy of this letter,
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory
