September 29th, 1900 Messrs, Pilling & Crane, Girard Building, Philadelphia, Pa. Dear Sirs:- We are in receipt of yours of the 28th inst and beg to confirm arrangement made over phone yesterday. We will also ship the Allentown Iron Works Briquettes to cover the note of $1,502.20 due on October 4th, billing same at seven (7) cents per unit, less 75 cents freight. We understand that you will check to take care of the note as above. Please arrange to have the check here set later than the third of October. We are very much obliged to you for the suggestion, as we would much prefer to ship the briquettes than to pay out the money at present. Also plans to send us formal specifying the number of briquettes you wish us to ship. The briquettes will average about 64% they having been made before we put in the fan. Briquettes at present are running between 75 and 65 in iron from .032 to .036 in Phosphorous. Yours very truly, W.S. Mallory
