Dear Mr. Crane:-
Your letter to Mr. Edison has been awaiting his return and he has directed me to say that he is not prepared at present to state whether we will require to buy the Talbot patent or not, but he is under the impression we will not need it. We can tell better after the test has been made.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory V.P.
