General Freight Agent,
Central Railroad of New Jersey,
143 Liberty Street,
New York City,
Dear Sir:-
On or about September 16th,we made a shipment to the Edison Ore Milling Syndicate, London, England, of one barrel and two kegs of ore. We enclosed to these parties the original shipping receipt issued by the Agent of the Central Railroad of New Jersey, Lake Hoptacong Station, N.J.
We are now in receipt of a letter from said Syndicate asking that we furnish them with a bill of lading over the  American Lie to Southampton, to which point the goods were shipped. Will you kindly instruct the bearer to give him a line to the proper party from when said bill of lading may be obtained, on the duplicate memorandum herewith enclosed, as the original is in London, England; hence we cannot furnish same.
