Mr. Orville Benson, Manager,
Edison, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
Yours of the 6th inst. relative to work at Franklin, fully noted. I have arranged with the New Jersey Zinc Company to take out the 3 High Rolls they now have and replace them with two pairs of our regular rolls. The 3 High Rolls make too many fines, and even with the changes made, we have suggested that it would not be entirely satisfactory for their own work, owing to the fact that their ore crushes so very much easier than the Edison ore, and owing to the weight of the rolls, it seems to be impracticable to get the course crushing they desire. So it will not be necessary to send Search to Franklin again until further advised.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory
