Mr. Orville Benson
Edison, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
We will probably send Morris Jayne in the near future to Stewartsville to become inside Inspector of the Machine shop. The work is getting so extensive that one can hardly cover the ground. Mr. Edison suggests that you arrange with Amzi Search to take Morris Jayne's place as soon as he goes.
Search's rate was thirty cents per hour, and we are willing to start him at the same ratel he, of course, to be in full charge when you are away and subject to your directions.
This confirming important telephone message.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory
