- Regret you didn't tell me your objection to Hipple leaving the Fabrique Co. We're obliged to send the Germans somebody who can set up lamps, so am sending Hipple. In 1 1/2 years, no one else has been taught all the work of lamps "so that we are in reality in the hands of Hipple"; this is dangerous. Have temporarily designated [Fabrou?] director of lamps. Agree with you that lowest possible price on lamps will encourage public acceptance of our system, but [something about disagreement with American? policy towards the Germans; the two sides ought to agree between themselves on minimum price.]
