- re: French companies Rau to Batch, ack Batch letters ; German contract, Continental fusion. Upton agreement vs. Bailey agreement; Rau threatened to resign from the board of Compagnie Continentale Edison if the dual matters of the French fusion and German contract were not settled soon. He also warned that the French companies could prevent the Edison manufacturers in America from shipping to national markets controlled by Deutsche Edison,; also explains something of the 25,000 German marks to be paid and discusses creation of 14,000 founders shares in new org, and how much Edison Electric Light Co. would get.
