Editor's Notes
#511 New dynamo: compares amps and ftlbs/inch of Z and K machines; shouldn't the H be rated at 320 amps (not 400) to be safe? Discusses his dynamo modifications. Hopkinson: "I must have your opinion on the value of Hopkinson's improvements; he is continually at Bailey about them, and Bailey seems as if he desperately wanted to give Hopkinson a royalty or buy what he has got. More about his improvements; fear that Bailey with make agreement with H along lines of unsatisfactory Berlin model if I don't have something as good as H.
