Abstract

Yours of 30th rcd. I appreciate the breadth of power sent and will use greatest discretion before signing. Have agreed on most things excpet compensation for directors but Porges has threatened not to sit on board if not allowed 15%. Porges had instructed me to start fixing up Ivry factories but after learning of my objection to 15% withdrew further payments until Co formed, leaving me with 20,000f in bills to meet. Discusses negotations over 15% matter. Cabled TAE whether he would accept 11%, or else begin negotiations all over again.
