Title
[MBLB4278], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Samuel Insull, May 7th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Please tell TAE I've received United Telephone (Reversionary trust) and Oriental Telephone interests. Got yours of 10th, 20th, and 21st; the latter "about the Doctor is very amusing! Apparently I am not the only one who considers him impractical." But I didn't influence the European Cos against him--"anybody that he had anything to do with considered him such an infernal bore that he actually cut the position out of his own hands" Thanks for sending me copy of 21 April letter to EHJ; haven't gotten the photos spoken of. Sorry to hear TAE is so unwell. Pls send me prices of all materials that Kruesi makes, also of meters, etc. because I'm about to start a couple of central stations.
