Abstract

Much obliged for your letter on batteries. Using Deprez galvanometer for lamp tests. "Last year Prof Rowland spoke considerably against this instrument as being very unscientific but I was sure it would do for us." Our voltages vary from 98 to 105, attributable to "imperfect inspection in the fibre room."
