Title
[MBLB4389], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Armington and Sims, December 2nd, 1882
Editor's Notes
"Edison having decided that the Aremington Engine does the work perfectly I telegraphed him to have you send me patterns and drawings for the 1200 light motor. I hope these can be rushed along quickly. The other sizes are also very necessary here. I have talked them up so much since your Mr Armington was here that I think it would not be a difficult thing to persuade people to manufacture them in France. and I believe people have expressed a desire to make them in Germany. If they were available here I should probably use nothing else, as we are buying engines lal the time, small and large." What mfging arrangements can be made?
