- No. 396 Update on isolated plants. Just sent three K machines to run a month at Imperial Palace in Vienna with 600B lamps. think this is first use of ELight for private rooms of an imperial family where gas never was admitted. Installation in Finland has been expanded [some details], working by water power. Helsingfore plan in large manufacturing establishment of George Ricks, "the most imporant factory for tapestry and fancy papers in Russia." Very successful. Most northerly Edison plant is at Yvaskyla Russia (a sawmill). The common council there wants central station for town of 2000.
