Lamps. Bast dipped in double chloride NH4 and Pt before carbonizing; ipped in ChlPt after carbonizing and recarbed. Same method tried with old paper carbons: "note Pt appears on them in black powder and persistently goes a short way up fibre although very careful to keep off when doing."
