Title
[N082109], Technical Note, Francis Jehl, Francis Robbins Upton, April 9th, 1880
Editor's Notes
dynamo tests using TAE dynamometer and electrodynamometer. Fr 650 "Results: The strength of the current varied during this owing to the heating of the sulphate of coper solution;" measure 116,000 ft/lbs by dynamometer; 125,000 by calorimeter "due to the fact that the dynometer test was not made until after the current had decreased." Measure 136,000 [ft/lbs] by current. More experiments, some with "plugged generator" (which seems to refer to a water jacket; they "pulled plug" then took water temp).
