p. 30 looks like sketch of lamp filiament. p. 31: sketch of filament emphasizing ends. "Stick extra pieces on by oxidized drying oil. Japan varnish Cuprus ammonia or collodion or nitrated cellulose in Nitro Benzol or Nitro the ends of the loop & then stick with a solvent"
