Jehl: measuring deflection of "sounder" and "kick;" purpose unclear. TAE: "Test on C dynamo and machine No. 1." "This test for a few minutes to determine if bearings are all right and she is up to speed..No we had to stop as the iron bands placed around the armature busted out at the joints and would not hold the copper bars in-- We took armature out at 9 pm and started to wind brass wire around it= got this done & armature back in machine at 7 oclock July 20." Test continues as next record.
