Got a square bar of German Silver made by Bergmann. "I then connected this with the small dynamo machine with 2.6 ohms in circuit and it heated it up to 195 F. I then had the experiment tried as shown in the fig on the next page" Scores of temp measurements at timed intervals. On p. 157, "we put the blas on again and took the temp every 10 seconds." Then p. 160, "I took this bar of German silver and covered it with 8 thicknesses of the parchment paper were are at present experimenting on. In this experiment the blast only struck on one side of the bar."
