Mr Edison Average diameter .1252 inch wire slightly oval in form and varied from .124 to .127 diam. 75 feet 3 inches gave at 24[degrees]C a resistance of .05 ohms and weighed 3 lbs 10 3/8 oz. Comparing iwth Matthiessen's table given in Jenkins page the wire is 100.5% by weight 102% by size
