EMG expts for last five days; substances on chalk: after using variety of papers, tried silk soaked with caustic soda; silk does not abrase(!); tries with different solns; drawing of device w/several indep't levers on p. 23, vol. 5 (fr. ) that gave better results than any arrangement yet; explains at some length; also "4 pringed spring" as on p. 20, v. 5; silk on paper moistened w/ordinary soln "results we striking"; get best results ever with EMG, ten conclusions; another expt cup on [brass, suggest platina best] disk with a hard rubber center with disk running in cup with clay and reg solution p. 24, vol. 5 -- continued on p. 57 following Octruplex entry
