Meter experiment May 6th 1889##Experiment was made with a set of 9 meters of new pattern. Solution was of the sp. gr. = 1.110, and of acidity of 8 drops of 10% N.S., haqving been boild and filtered 3 weeks before starting the test. Lines were varnished on backside and edges, amalgamated while hot, on 4th of May, dried for 36 hrs. Distance between plates = 1/4".##Monday, 6th May 1889. The plates were weighted and put into their bottles, where they remained to May 9th. [Table follows with discussion; drawing on left page]
