Title
[NS84ACK], Technical Note, Thomas Alva Edison, May 22nd, 1884
Editor's Notes
"John [Ott]: Please try the following experiment. I want to work local sounders and also work telegraph wires of 2500 to 7000 ohms each from dynamo. So arrange it thus & let me know if the sounders lines don't interfere with each other [sketch].... This is arranged so as to send out positive or negative currents. The lines on top of 75 ohom coil will get curren in one direction while those on bottom of 75 ohm coil will get current in opposite direction. Arrange all these circuits so you can change relays & keys etc from one experiment to the other quickly then let me know when you are ready to show it to me." See NM019AAI next day.
