- TAE has been working on finding a cure to yellow fever since September 15th. His treatments are cheap, which is why he is working with them and recommending them as disinfectants. The articles addresses what TAE believes he can do with enough gasoline.
- Edison claims pouring gasoline over infected region should be sufficient for extermination and effectual check of yellow fever, based on theory that sufficient cold will kill all forms of organic life
